IMPORTANT NOTICE - Internal Circular No. (12) Regarding the use of pallets

Subject/ Internal Circular No. (12) Regarding the use of pallets<

With reference to the correspondence of Mr./ Head of Qatar's National Committee for Customs Clearance ref. 2017/1957 dated 30/3/02017 regarding committee’s decision of custom clearance system to commence using of pallets in the shipment of goods.

For the appropriate and efficient implementation of this decision, the following instruction shall be applied:

First: Shipped goods could not be cleared if not placed on pallets.
Second: all Sea Port Customs staff, according to their spheres of competence, shall implement the above instruction starting from the 30/06/2017.
